What this service stores in your browser, why almost none of it needs your consent, and how to refuse the rest.
What is stored

What is not stored
- No third-party cookies, and no cookies beyond the language one named above.
- No analytics, product telemetry or session recording.
- No advertising, retargeting or conversion identifiers.
- No social media embeds, and no fonts, scripts or images loaded from a third-party domain.
- No fingerprinting, and no cross-site or cross-device identifiers.
Consent, and what the notice actually does
Article 5(3) of Directive 2002/58/EC requires consent before storing information on your device, with an exemption for storage that is strictly necessary to provide a service you have explicitly requested. Everything in the table falls inside that exemption: each item records a choice you made yourself — a language, a theme, a wallet connection, or an answer to this notice.
So the notice you were shown is not asking permission for the four items above; they load either way, because without them the service cannot do what you asked it to. What it asks is a question about the future. Choosing “Essential only” records a refusal of any non-essential category, and that refusal is checked before anything in such a category could load.
There is nothing in a non-essential category today: no analytics, no advertising, no embeds. If that ever changes, the new category defaults to off — including for readers who pressed “Accept” before it existed — and this page will describe it before it is switched on.
Clearing what is stored
Both items are under your control. Clearing site data for this domain in your browser settings removes them, and the service continues to work - you will simply be offered the default theme again. Private or incognito browsing discards both when the window closes.
